Dallas Mayor Goes Door to Door Delivering Hot Meals

Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert hit the ground running this morning, delivering hot meals for the Meals on Wheels Program.

This is the final week for the annual "March For Meals" program. 

It's a month-long event by the Meals On Wheels Association of America to recognize the importance of Meals on Wheels programs for the well-being of our homebound elderly.

Leppert said volunteering is a teriffic thing to do, even if it's once a month.  You can serve 10 or 12 meals and really make a difference in the community.
