The fate, financing and feel of the ever-controversial Trinity River toll road grew murkier Wednesday just as the project stands poised to be the major issue in next year’s Dallas City Council elections.
Mayor Mike Rawlings told an invitation-only crowd packed into a West Dallas barbecue joint that it’s time for residents to get a more transparent view of the divisive project.
