A police pursuit of the driver of an SUV ended in a crash early Tuesday morning.
Irving police said the SUV was identified as stolen in Dallas at about 2 a.m. Tuesday. When officers tried to pull the driver over, he took off northbound on Loop 12 into Irving.
The driver then took the exit from Loop 12 to state Highway 183 eastbound, where he lost control and hit the side of a building.
Both Dallas and Irving police pursued the vehicle.
The driver was taken to the hospital and is stable, officers said. The driver's name was not released by police.
No one else was injured.
