Dallas ISD Teacher Accused of Inappropriate Relationship

A Dallas Independent School District teacher has been arrested after she was accused of an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Mary Todd Lowrance, 49, surrendered to police Thursday morning to face a felony charge for the alleged relationship.

Dallas ISD Police Chief Craig Miller said the Molina High School teacher has been on leave for several weeks while investigators worked the case.

Lowrance was booked into the Dallas County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
