Dallas Fire-Rescue's Hazmat team has been called to the scene of a ruptured gas line near Pagemill Road and Skillman Street, northeast of Interstate 635 near Garland.
Officials are blocking traffic in the area while the situation is assessed and they are advising people to stay clear of the area.
At this time, there have been no evacuations.
