Dallas Fire-Rescue Cut Man From Vehicle After Crash

Dallas Fire-Rescue had to use the jaws of life to rescue a man from a mangled vehicle Sunday morning.

Dallas police said the driver hit a Texas Department of Transportation sign on Interstate 35E near Inwood Road just before 3 a.m.

The SUV he was driving was badly damaged and the man was pinned inside, unconscious and badly injured.

Firefighters had to cut the man out of the vehicle, once he was freed he was taken to a nearby hospital.

No word on the man's condition as of Sunday morning.

The Dallas County Sheriff's Office is investigating what led up to the crash.
