Authorities said a Dallas County Sheriff's deputy was attacked at the scene of a vehicle crash Friday morning.
Dallas County Sheriff's deputy was at the scene of a crash on northbound Interstate 35E near Royal Lane when he noticed a car pulled over on the shoulder with someone inside that may have seen the crash.
When the deputy approached the car, the driver grabbed him and tried to drive away while holding onto him.
The officer was not injured.
