Dallas County Schools Expand Protections Against Bullying to Include LGBT Students

Dallas County Schools are officially expanding their commitment to protect all students from bullying.

The Dallas County School Board revised its non-discrimination policy to include people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.

The board president said there are no excuses and everyone must be treated equally.

The policy now prohibits discrimination and harassment on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and genetic information.
