Remington College's Dallas campus is offering free back-to-school haircuts for kids throughout the month of August.
Remington College — hosting its 8th annual 'Cuts for Kids' event — will be providing free haircuts for kids, 17 and under, through Aug. 31. The goal is to save parents money and send kids back to school looking and feeling their best.
It will also give Remington College's Cosmetology Program some professional work. The cuts are available Wednesday through Saturday of any week, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Eastgate Drive in Garland. You can set up an appointment by calling 972-698-3890, but walk-ins are accepted.
The kids' cuts are free of charge, and adults can get in on the free service, as well. Parents who bring school supplies — such as pencils, pens, notebooks, etc. — for a donation can get a free haircut, manicure or pedicure. The school supplies will be donated to local schools.
Over the seven previous 'Cuts for Kids' campaigns, Remington College has provided over 16,000 free haircuts, according to the school.
