TWO MEN FOUND SLAIN INSIDE HOUSE
An investigation is under way after patrol officers found two bodies Tuesday inside a house located just northeast of Fair Park in the 5300 block of Beeman Avenue, Dallas police said.  The two men, ages 36 and 30, were discovered by family members who arrived to find the door of the home had been pushed open. It is unclear how the men were killed. Investigators described the scene inside the house as bloody, but did not release any other information. 

GIRL FATALLY SHOT IN THE HEAD 
Fort Worth police are continuing to investigate a weekend shooting that killed a 16-year-old girl and they suspect it was gang-related. Police said the victim, Zuly Ledesma, had been riding in a vehicle with her boyfriend, the apparent intended target of the shooting, when she was shot in the head shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday. She was pronounced dead at John Peter Smith Hospital around 7:50 a.m. Sunday. Police said no arrests had been made as of Monday morning.

BODY FOUND IN CREEK ID'ED AS JESSIE ARMSTEAD'S NEWPHEW
A body found in a creek Monday has been identified as the nephew of former NFL Pro-Bowler and Dallas native Jessie Armstead, KRLD reported.  Louis Armstead's remains were found in a creek near Peavy and Buckner nearly one week after his family reported him missing.  The body was found right behind a day care center and was quickly pulled out so that the children wouldn't see it, KRLD reported

CHURCH'S CHICKEN ROBBER GETS BEATING INSTEAD OF CASH: POLICE
A man who attempted to rob a Church's Chicken restaurant on Singleton Near North Hampton Monday escaped with a beating and no cash, Dallas police said. The business was closed and two maintenance workers were outside when the man forced them back inside and demanded that they open the safe, police said. When he realized they didn't have access, police said he shot one of the workers in the leg. That's when one of the victims grabbed a pipe and started beating the robber, who fled empty handed, police said. The worker who was shot was taken to the hospital and doctors said he's expected to recover, KRLD reported.
