Three Killed in Wrong-Way Crash

An investigation is under way after three people died in a high-speed, wrong-way crash on Interstate 20 in Dallas.

CONSTRUCTION WORKER DIES IN 23-STORY FALL
A 35-year-old construction worker died Thursday at the Saint Ann Court high-rise office after the scaffolding gave way, The Dallas Morning News reports.  The man was installing hardware on the outside of the 23rd floor of the 333-foot building when the scaffolding collapsed. The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the incident.

THREE KILLED IN WRONG WAY CRASH
A car traveling the wrong way on westbound Interstate 20 at Polk Street in Dallas crashed into a SUV head-on Friday morning. All three were killed on the scene. Police believe the car had only been traveling eastbound on westbound I-20 for a short time since 911 received no calls about a car going the wrong way.  The names of the victims have not yet been released

TWO BEING QUESTIONED IN LEDBETTER SHOOTING
Dallas police are questioning two people after a shooting at the Plaza de las Americas on Ledbetter Drive Thursday night. A teen was taken to the hospital in serious condition after being shot in the stomach, police said.

FATHER AND SON ARRESTED IN DOUBLE HOMICIDE
Two men have been arrested in connection with Wednesday’s double-murder in east Dallas. John David Alardin, 38, and his son John David Reza Jr., 19, are facing capital murder charges, The Dallas Morning News reports.  The suspects had been in an ongoing feud with the victims, Mario Garcia and Rafael Pacheco, who were shot and killed late Wednesday, Dallas police said.
