    3 FOUND DEAD IN GARLAND HOME
    Police suspect a double murder and a suicide in the deaths of three people whose bodies were found at a Dallas-area home.
    Garland police discovered the bodies Sunday afternoon following a standoff that began just before midnight Saturday with an armed man at the residence. Click here to read this story on NBCDFW.com

    OFFICER SHOOTS, KILLS MAN HOLDING CELL PHONE
    An officer shot and killed a man who was believed to have been holding a gun, but was actually holding a cell phone, Dallas police said. It happened at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday when officers responded to a 911 call reporting people being loud and firing a weapon in the 2700 block of Ivandale Street, Lt. Andy Harvey said.     SUV SLAMS INTO OVERLOADED DAYCARE VAN, INJURES 16
    Grand Prairie police said a sport utility vehicle slammed into the side of a daycare van loaded with 24 children, sending the van into a roll before it came to a rest on its side just before 8 a.m. Monday. Det. John Brimmer, of the Grand Prairie Police Department, said there were no serious injuries in the crash that sent 16 children, including two adults, to Dallas-area hospitals.  Click here to read this story on NBCDFW.com
