    Here's a daily list of recent activities drawing the attention of North Texas law enforcement. List compiled on Sept. 27, 2009.

    POLICE FIND MAN, 2 PEOPLE DEAD AFTER STANDOFF
    Garland police said three people were found dead Sunday in what is believed to be a murder-suicide after a standoff with police. Police were called to a house in the 5400 block of Wyrick Lane just before midnight on a welfare check. Police said the man inside refused to speak with the officers and called 911 said he was considering suicide. Members of the SWAT team found the man and two other people dead when they entered the house Sunday afternoon after obtaining a search warrant.

    2 KILLED IN SHOOTING AT DALLAS CAR WASH
    Two people were killed in a deadly triple shooting at a Dallas car wash Saturday night, police said. Investigators said three men were shot near the corner of Bonnie View Road and East Ledbetter Drive at about 9:30 p.m. One of the victims was in serious condition at a local hospital Sunday. Police said no arrests have been made in the case.

    POLICE: MAN FATALLY SHOT AFTER REACHING FOR OFFICER'S MACE
    Investigators said a police officer shot and killed a man Saturday after a foot chase in southeastern Dallas. Police said the officer stopped Robert Taylor and another man after police received a call that people were acting suspiciously in the neighborhood. Police said Taylor, who was on foot, fled and then attacked the officer who chased him. Police said the officer shot Taylor when the man reached for the officer's mace. Police said it does not appear Taylor had a weapon. The officer involved will be placed on routine paid administrative leave while investigators look into the case.
