Police said a man in his mid-20s was shot in a vehicle parked on the west side of the McDonald's at Interstate 20 and South Collins Street at about 8:25 p.m. Saturday. Police said no one inside the restaurant was injured. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he died. Police said it appeared the victim and the shooters knew each other.

2 Men Killed in Deadly Shooting Outside Club
Arlington police said two men were shot in the parking lot of an Arlington club late Saturday night. 2 Teens Drown at 2 N. Texas Lakes
Two teenagers died at Lake Lavon and Lake Lewisville in separate incidents Saturday. The Collin County Sheriff's Department said a 16-year-old boy drowned in Lake Lavon after he went under in a designated swimming area at about 7:30 p.m. The victim and some of his friends went swimming in the lake to cool off after playing soccer. He was located after about 10 minutes, and a person at the park performed CPR. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Another teenager, also 16, died Saturday night at a lake. A witness said the boy was in the water with his family when he fell off a raft and disappeared. A dive team search found his body after a 45-minute search.
