DPD Searching for Woman Abducted After Leaving Club

Woman, friend go missing after leaving club

The Dallas Police Department is asking for help in finding a missing young woman.

Elia Beltran, 20, and a friend, were walking to their SUV from the El Rio Club on Walton Walker early Tuesday when they were approached by an armed man, police say.

The man forced both women into Beltran's SUV where he demanded they drive him around and give him money. At about 3:15 a.m., the armed man forced Beltran's friend out of the SUV on the 1300-block of Pacific Avenue.

Beltran has not been seen or heard from since and is considered to be in danger.

Beltran is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 100 pounds.  She has long black hair and was wearing a blue blouse and gray skirt. Her vehicle is a dark-green 1997 Ford Explorer with a faded hood and tinted windows.  The vehicle has Texas license plate FNT-089.

Her kidnapper is described as Hispanic, in his 20s and about 5 feet 5 inches tall.  He weighs about 140 pounds, has short black hair and was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, blue jeans and work boots.

Anyone with information on Beltran or her kidnapper is asked to call the Crimes Against Persons Division at 214-671-3668 or 214-671-3584.
