In addition to the back-to-school hotline that will be initiated on Monday, Aug. 26, the Dallas Independent School District will also activate a constituent phone line starting Aug. 19 - Aug. 23, to answer questions and concerns prior to the first day of school.

Parents may call the constituent line at 972-925-5555, from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., to receive back-to-school information.

The Dallas ISD will still activate the back-to-school hotline during the first week of school, starting Monday, Aug. 26 - 30. The hours of operation for the 972-925-5437 (KIDS) hotline will be: 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, and 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Wednesday through Friday.

The parent hotline will address school-related concerns and ease the confusion normally associated with the first week of school. The hotline will operate in English and Spanish.
