Volunteer Center of North Texas Seeking Clean-Up Volunteers

The task force includes the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army and the North Texas Food Bank.

The Volunteer Center of North Texas is currently looking for people to assist with clean-up efforts after yesterday's tornadoes slammed the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The Mass Care Task Force includes the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and the North Texas Food Bank—all of which have pledged to help begin rectifying the damage wrought by Tuesday's twisters.

You can register to volunteer at the VCNT's official website. People who sign up can be used immediately, according to the center—and will also be notified in the future should a disaster occur.
