Perfume Prompts Hazmat Call on DART Bus

Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a hazardous materials call on a DART bus Thursday after multiple passengers became ill after something was sprayed on board.

The bus driver stopped and evacuated the bus near Harry Hines Boulevard and Lofland Street.

At about 2:20 p.m., DART tweeted that a passenger used too much perfume.

It is not yet known how many people were on the bus at the time or how many were affected by the perfume.

The intersection is directly across the street from Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.

NBC 5's Andres Gutierrez contributed to this report.
