DART Buses Collide in Downtown Dallas

A pair of Dallas Area Rapid Transit buses collided Friday evening in downtown Dallas, resulting in several injuries.

The crash was reported at about 10 p.m. near the intersection of Elm and Griffin streets, as one bus rear-ended the other.

Multiple ambulances were called to the scene, and they transported an unknown number of people to area hospitals.

One of the buses did not have any passengers on board and was on its way to the garage when the collision took place.

Dallas police are investigating and have not released additional information.
