A cyclist died after falling off his bicycle and hitting a tree at an Arlington park Saturday afternoon, police said.
Arlington fire crews responded about 1:45 p.m. to River Legacy Park on N.W. Green Oaks Boulevard where they found the man unconscious and unresponsive on a bike trail, fire officials said.
He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released. No other information was available.
