Fort Worth is the "Most Country City in America" according to a new survey, but really ... was there any doubt?
Estately, a national real estate search site, bestowed Cowtown with the honor.
Estately culled through Facebook for it's rankings. The company said the list was based on the percentage of Facebook users in the 50 largest U.S. cities who listed "the following items as interests: country music, fishing, hunting, NASCAR, firearms, barbecue, cowboy boots, rodeos, sweet tea and pickup trucks."
Fort Worth came in first for pickup trucks, second for cowboy boots, third for rodeo and fourth for sweet tea.
In other "no kidding" news, five other Texas cities made the Top 20. Dallas was the lowest Texas city on the list, coming in at No. 26.

We know there's the Stockyards, Billy Bob's and the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo to add to our city's "country" credits, but basing the designation on how many residents like pickup trucks and barbecue on Facebook ignores events like the Main Street Arts Festival (going on this weekend) or places like Bass Hall, which show off the depth of interests that Fort Worth residents have.

We'd like to point out that Fort Worth is very "citified" with a thriving cultural district, miles of hiking and biking trails and multiple neighborhoods like West 7th that draw people to live in the city.
