Cowboys Show Off “The Star” in Frisco

We’ve watched the Cowboys’ new world headquarters grow in Frisco for many long months now, and finally the team is ready to show it off.

On Sunday, they invited NBC 5 and other local and national media outlets to tour the state-of-the-art building that’s been named The Star.

The facility holds the corporate offices for the team and serves as the home base for the players and coaches.

Along with indoor and outdoor practice facilities they also have a large team dining area, theater for viewing game footage, workout facility, locker rooms, and in-house video production studios.

The indoor practice field will also serve as the new home for Frisco ISD’s athletics.

Along with function, the building is just as much about paying tribute to America’s Team.

The hallways are lined with memorabilia from the team, jerseys, photos, and artifacts from their 5 Superbowl wins. Some of the more fascinating items include Coach Tom Landry’s iconic hat and the original hand-written scouting reports on Cowboys greats like Troy Aikman.
