A Central Texas man was sentenced to 10 years in prison and his mother must serve nearly six years behind bars for helping run a marijuana ring.
Conner Phillip Koss and Le'Ann Koss, both of Hewitt, were sentenced Wednesday in federal court in Waco.
The 26-year-old Koss pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana and to possession with intent to distribute marijuana in June. His 60-year-old mother pleaded guilty to the same charges in July.
Prosecutors said the Koss residence was raided last November in an investigation linked to marijuana from California.
Another relative, 59-year-old Phillip Larry Koss, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute marijuana in March and awaits sentencing. He's the father of Conner Koss and the husband of Le'Ann Koss.
