Love, longevity and the fair are things Joe and Mary Torres know all about.
They spent their honeymoon at the State Fair of Texas 50 years ago.
On Thursday they returned to celebrate. NBC 5 cameras followed the couple as they retraced their steps. They ate corny dogs, went on a few rides and shared a kiss by Big Tex.
They said they didn't have a lot of money back in 1965, so they decided to honeymoon at the fair.
"We thought it would be fun," Joe Torres said. "Now we try to make it every year."
The couple has three children.
"We've had a good 50 years," Mary Torres said.

Fair officials had Big Tex congratulate the couple on reaching the milestone.
They said they plan on coming back next year.
