Experience the joy of decorating a gingerbread house with your kids and help a good cause at the same time.
The annual Cookies & Castles event sponsored by the Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Delta Delta is December 12.
The family fun event gives kids of all ages a chance to decorate their own gingerbread house with 5,000 lbs. of candy at their disposal. Mr. & Mrs. Claus also pay the kids a visit. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children's Prosthetics Department.
The event was originally started by the Fort Worth TriDelta alumnae chapter and was such a success in Cowtown the event now happens every year in Dallas, too.
