Officials with the Iron Yard, a school that teaches computer coding, announce plans to open a new campus in Dallas.
The school offers a 12-week program designed to prepare students to enter the workforce as junior developers after graduation.
Courses in back- and front-end engineering are offered. According to The Iron Yard's website, back-end engineering classes focus on database needs required to run web applications, whereas front-end engineering classes focus on creating experiences in web browsers that users can see and interact with.
Courses at The Iron Yard are scheduled to begin Mar. 21.
