Christalah Lyons' 23 Points Leads Dallas Skyline to 6A Final

61-34 win over Lewisville Flower Mound in Class 6A semifinals

Christalah Lyons scored 23 points to lead Dallas Skyline to a 61-34 win over Lewisville Flower Mound in Class 6A semifinals Friday in San Antonio's Alamodome.

Lyons added four rebounds, while Dai'Ja Thomas had 11 points and seven rebounds. LaDerica Paul scored 10 points, while Jordan Alexander added nine points the victorious Raiders.

Lyons scored 19 of her points in the first half to stake Skyline (31-6) to a 34-15 lead.

Skyline pressed Flower Mound (28-8), forcing 17 turnovers and out rebounded the Jaguars 22-11 in the first half to take its 19-point lead.

Flower Mound's 6-4 junior post Lauren Cox recorded a triple double with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocked shots.

The trip was the first appearance in the state tournament for both teams.
