Investigators say a South Texas man has been accused of falsely promising girls a chance at a reality TV show if they texted him nude photos.

The FBI on Tuesday arrested 35-year-old Gemase Lee Simmons, at his San Antonio apartment, on a charge of distribution of child pornography. An affidavit says Simmons is accused of using separate cell phone accounts and posing as different people to lure modeling victims.

A Feb. 14 detention hearing has been set for Simmons, who allegedly claimed to be producing a reality show. Records show he has a 2008 auto theft conviction and is on probation.

Simmons attorney Robert Gebbia has declined comment.
