Officials say the body of a 3-year-old girl who went missing along a flooded Central Texas creek has been found.
Caldwell County emergency manager Martin Ritchey said the child's body was recovered from the rain-swollen creek near Lockhart late Tuesday night.
She had been reported missing about six hours earlier as storms moved through the area.
He said officials originally got a report of two missing children, but a 4-year-old boy was able to get out of the creek.
Lockhart is located about 30 miles south of Austin.
