Arlington police said a 3-year-old boy who fell from a third-story window Thursday is expected to be OK.
The boy was with his mother, visiting his grandmother at a retirement community, when he climbed on top of a couch that was next to an open window. The boy leaned against the window screen, which collapsed and sent him tumbling toward the earth.
CareFlite flew the boy to Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth with a possible head injury.
Arlington police said his injuries were believed to be life-threatening, but that he is expected to recover.
No charges are expected to be filed.
