If you visit the pet cemetery in Cedar Hill, you'll soon see a permanent tribute to dogs that serve with first responders.
On Saturday, police and residents unveiled the "Enduring Valor" war dog monument in Cedar Hill's pet cemetery.
The statue is a tribute to all handlers and their canine partners in the military and law enforcement.
California artist Susan Bahary created the monument. The model is a Belgian Malinois named "Titus" who is owned by the Cedar Hill Police Department.
The cemetery is located at 1210 J. Elmer Weaver Freeway in Cedar Hill.
