Carjackers Steal Truck Full of Medicines



    A truck carrying pharmaceutical drugs was stolen Friday morning.

    Dallas police are searching for a truck full of pharmaceutical drugs that was stolen early Friday morning.

    The truck was headed for a Walgreens drug store was stolen at about 8:45 a.m. Friday and taken for a joy ride around Dallas, police say.

    Police said the driver of the truck was near the intersection of Inwood and Irving near Interstate 35 when he was carjacked by two other men.

    The carjackers put tape over the truck driver's eyes and mouth and tied him up, according to police, who also say one of the robbers had a gun.

    Officers are still searching  for the missing 14-foot-long medical supplies bobtail truck.
