A driver was taken to a Fort Worth hospital after his car smashed into a house Thursday afternoon.
The driver of the Mazda sedan may have suffered a medical issue that caused him to crash into a home in the 7300 block of Briarwyck Court, near Basswood Boulevard, police at the scene said.
He was transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution but did not appear injured, police said.
The crash damaged the brick exterior of the home, but the homeowner, who was away at the time of the crash, said everyone inside appears to be OK.
On Wednesday, a car slammed into a home in Lewisville, causing minor damage.
