Authorities said a Fort Worth nursing home resident was injured when a driver crashed a car their room Wednesday morning. [[361212771,C]]
MedStar officials said the resident was asleep when the car crashed into the Southwest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in the 5300 block of Altamesa Boulevard just before 6 a.m.
The resident was transported to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth with minor injuries, according to MedStar.
Authorities told NBC 5 the driver was had just dropped off a resident in the parking lot of the nursing home and accidentally went in reverse, crashing into the building.
Police said the driver will not be charged.
