Canoers Spot Body Floating in Trinity River in Dallas

    A body was pulled from the Trinity River in Dallas Monday.

    Dallas police were called to an area of the river near state Highway 310 after two people canoeing discovered the body floating in the water.

    Police said there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body and that the person's identity was not easily determined due to the length of time spent in the water.

    The cause of death and identity will be determined by the medical examiner.
