A meeting to encourage women of color to start and build businesses will bring out the star power Tuesday night in Dallas.
Grammy award winning singer and former "Destiny's Child" member Michelle Williams is part of workshop of sharing success strategies in Dallas. It happens Tuesday, August 23 6:00-9:00 p.m. at The Aloft Hotel Downtown Dallas at 1033 Young Street.
The event is hosted by Cameka Smith, founder of The BOSS Network, an online and event-based community for women who are professionals and entrepreneurs.
Williams will give a keynote address. In addition to singing, she launched a home-goods line "Believe at Home."
There will also be a panel of four businesswomen, including Michele Meyer-Shipp, Vice-president & Chief Diversity Officer at Prudential Financial, Inc.; Lisa Tenorio, Assistant Vice President of Network Planning at AT&T; Tiffany Fulcher, CEO & founder of Momspace; and Nikki Woods, CEO of Nikki Woods Media and Chief publisher of Victoria Street Publishing.
