Bus Crashes, Catches Fire in Arlington

A school bus caught fire Wednesday morning in Arlington after a multi-vehicle crash along Interstate 30.

The crash was first reported at about 7:30 a.m. when the bus collided with several other vehicles in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 30 near Collins Street.

After the crash, the bus caught fire.  There were no children on board the bus at the time of the crash and the driver and an attendant were able to escape, though both were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash has not been released and it is not yet known if there were any other injuries.
