Bullets Fly on the Freeway; DPD Searching for Shooter

Two people were injured in a shooting on a Dallas freeway following a fight at a nightclub, police say.

According to police, a fight took place at Club Kahlua on the 2100 block of Northwest Highway. After the fight ended at about 1 a.m., police said four men got into a Chrysler 300 and left the bar.

Police said the men were followed from the club by a black Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 truck.

While headed south on Interstate 35, near Mockingbird Lane, someone inside the truck opened fire on the Chrysler 300, police said.

With their Chrysler 300 riddled with bullet holes, the victims drove about nine miles to Henderson Avenue, near U.S. 75, before calling for help on the 5300 block of Belmont Avenue.

One man was shot in the leg. An ambulance rushed him to Baylor Medical Center in serious condition. Another victim was shot in the arm and was treated at the scene.

So far, no arrests have been made.
