Dallas Building Evacuated

One Main Place in Dallas was evacuated Thursday after a bomb-sniffing smelled something suspicious in a package.

The office building was evacuated at about 10 a.m. after the building's on-site private security dog alerted its handlers to the package.

The area around the 33-story office building, located at 1201 Main Street, was blocked off while a Dallas police ordinance squad investigated the package.  An X-ray indicated there was nothing harmful inside.

At about 11 a.m., officials determined the packages were not a threat and allowed everyone back inside the building.
