Bones Found in Submerged Car at Lake Ray Hubbard

A car found submerged in Lake Ray Hubbard contained skeletal remains, believed to be human.

The sedan was pulled from the lake near Robertson Park just after noon Wednesday. The car was covered, loaded on a flatbed transport truck and removed from the scene.

It has not yet been determined if the remains are human, though the Dallas County medical examiner said they suspect they are.

The park, located near Dalrock and Interstate 30 in Rowlett, is under the jurisdiction of the Dallas Police Department. So far, officials with the Dallas Police Department have not revealed any other information about the bones and said they won't divulge how the car was found.
