Investigators say a body found in the Concho River in downtown San Angelo has been identified as a 15-year-old boy last seen in the water.

A jogger on Thursday noticed a body in the river. San Angelo police later identified the body as Daniel Perez.

The teen was last seen Monday afternoon while swimming with friends. Police at the time said Perez was believed to have been under the influence of an intoxicant when he disappeared. Police do not suspect foul play in the death.
