Body Inside Vehicle Pulled From Lewisville Lake

Emergency crews pulled a body from a pick-up truck that went into Lewisville Lake early Saturday morning.

Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Lonny Haschel told NBC DFW that officers were notified about a vehicle that have driven into the water around 3:50 a.m. Saturday.

Officers said the vehicle went over the east guard rail of the Lewisville Lake bridge along I-35E. It went into the water.

A body was recovered around 8:00 a.m. Saturday.

So far, Trooper Haschel can confirm only one body was recovered.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
