Body Found in Turtle Creek is Missing Man

Dallas police pulled a body from Turtle Creek at Reverchon Park just after 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

Dallas police say a body found in Turtle Creek near Reverchon Park on Thursday belongs to man reported missing last week.

Dallas police found the man in the 3500 block of Maple Avenue. According to Dallas police, detectives from the Missing Persons squad also responded because of previous reports of a missing man being last seen there.

Dallas detectives confirm the man was 36-year-old Jose Hernandez Flores who was reported missing Jan. 10.

Dallas police say there were no visible signs of trauma to Flores' body and the case is being rules an unexplained death pending a ruling from the medical examiner. Next of kin has been notified.
