Several homes and businesses have been raided in a crackdown on suspected illegal gambling in Southeast Texas.
Police in Beaumont and Port Arthur were joined by the FBI in the raids Wednesday night.
Officials said six locations in Beaumont were searched, along with one business in Port Arthur, in the investigation that began four months ago.
Investigators did not immediately say what type of gambling allegedly was involved. The raids included game rooms and gift shops.
Authorities did not immediately announce any arrests.
