Dallas Police investigate claims of a suspicious device at Wells Fargo bank in the 18000 block of Dallas Parkway.

The Dallas bomb squad was called to the Wells Fargo Bank on the 18000 block of Dallas Parkway in North Dallas Thursday night after someone put a suspicious device in a teller drawer.

Dallas police tweeted that someone came through the drive-thru and placed a suspicious device with a note in the commercial window at about 5:15 p.m.

Upon seeing the device, the teller left the drive-up window and went to notify her manager.  When they returned to the window the driver sped away.

The bomb squad was called to the scene to assist in removing the device.
