Police say reports of an attempted abduction near a elementary school in Colleyville did not occur.[[328109761,C]]
Thursday evening, Colleyville police released the following statement:
On Thursday September 17, 2015 at approximately 3:05 PM, a possible attempted abduction of a child was reported to have occurred in the 5400 block of Pool Rd, in Colleyville. After further investigation, it was revealed the incident did not occur.
Earlier on Thursday, a student said a man tried to lure them into his SUV near OC Taylor Elementary School on Pool Road.
Grapevine-Colleyville ISD officials notified parents of the incident soon after it was reported Thursday afternoon out of an abundance of caution.
