A movie theater worker is in the hospital after an attempted robbery on Sunday.
It happened around 1 p.m. at the Starplex Cinemas Ten on West Pioneer Drive in Irving.
Police said the suspect hit the clerk on the head with an object and fled before police arrived.
The theater initially closed but was reopened by 4:30 p.m. the same day.
