Arrests Made in Metro PCS Store Robbery

Tucker accused of robbery and pointing a weapon at a child

Two men have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of an Oak Cliff Metro PCS store.

The arrest of George Tucker, 41, was announced by the Dallas police on Thursday.  Tucker is accused of robbing the store and pointing a pistol at employees and a 4-year-old child while demanding cash and mobile phones.

Tucker was identified by multiple people who saw surveillance video of the robbery.

Police said the armed man had his finger on the trigger most of the time during the robbery and appeared willing to shoot.

On Friday, the Dallas police announced a second person, 39-year-old Robert Clyde Wallace, has also been arrested in connection with the crime.

To date, officials have released no further information on the suspects or the ongoing investigation.
