A man has been arrested for murder after a fatal shooting Friday morning outside the City Inn Suites on South Ewing Avenue.
On July 31, Dallas police were called to the motel on the 200 block of South Ewing Avenue to respond to a shooting.
When officers arrived, they discovered motel employee, 42-year-old Ladonna Gist, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
After their investigation, police determined 36-year-old Estevan Lara was responsible for her death. Additional details on the investigation have not yet been confirmed.
Lara is being charged with murder and has bail set at $750,000.
