A package delivered to an Arlington home by mistake contained marijuana, according to police.
Arlington police said the homeowner called them after finding the package on their porch.
The residents — who had just recently purchased the home — told police it was sent to their address, but addressed to a person they didn't know.
The residents told police they found about seven pounds of marijuana inside the box.
Police said officers took possession of the drugs and notified U.S. Postal Inspectors, who will continue the investigation.
